Is there still something to reveal about Tchaikovsky? Doesn't his music already receive enough performances and loving attention all over the world? Festival Artistic Director Vladimir Jurowski's two week festival juxtaposes Tchaikovsky's music with composers who influenced him and those for whom Tchaikovsky was in turn an inspiration.
