In Ristorante Immortale, plates turn into castanets, a basket into a ship and the bands use kitchen tools as instruments. We soon forget the actors wear masks and that not a word is being spoken. Ristorante Immortale is a place which never opens but never closes and where its tireless staff live a life of intrigue, self deception and joy. It conjures up remembrances of Buster Keaton and The Marx Brothers with a trace of Fellini. A hit at Edinburgh Fringe in 2001 and 2004. Berlin based Familie Floez are renowned for creating a wordless theatre which blends masks with acting, dancing, acrobatics and music into a new artform which captures the hearts of young and old worldwide.
