Sheila Stewart is a storyteller and singer from the legendary Scottish traveller family, the 'Stewarts of Blair'. The last member of her family to carry on the great tradition, she has a rich repertoire of old folk tales, comic tales and tales of traveller life, as well as a store of outstanding songs and ballads. With a passionate sense of the tragedies of life, and the oppression of the travelling people, Sheila Stewart is much more than a storyteller, she is her own story.
