Set in a supermarket, Okada's show explores Japanese consumerism using dark humour, dreamlike movement and a striking soundscape of J-pop and JS Bach. LIFT follows its sell-out artsdepot show, Not By Bread Alone, with a new work by Japan's most exciting director Toshiki Okada. Co-commissioned by Teatro Maria Matos and LIFT as part of House on Fire, and Theater de Welt. Performed in Japanese with English surtitles. Age 14+
