T660035314Tartan Turns, a turn, a tipple and tea cake, is a night of Scottish Entertainment to raise money for Action Duchenne and sufferers of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The third Tartan Turns promises to be bigger and better! This years host Tony Kearney (Scott Wallace, River City) will be joined once again by many stars from Scottish Stage, Screen and Music Scene. So far, confirmed acts include Eileen McCallum, Johnny Beattie, Libby McArthur, Julie Duncanson (River City) Tom Urie (The Karen Dunbar Show) with Kathleen McDermott (Morvern Callar and E4'S Dead Set) a bit of 'Dean Martin' from Michael Howell, a touch of Bollywood from 'Indian Idol' Anshul, the 2006 winners of the PRS new music award Das Contras, and some samba from The Kings of Macumba for what will hopefully be a night to remember. | |
