Tea is an Evening Meal

T1962752515
Sitting around a dining table up north share in the rituals of too much sugar and even more gravy. In this solo performance, the habits, routines and characteristics of coming from north of Birmingham will be gently exposed and honestly shared. Sharing personal experiences, gathered stories and a cuppa tea Faye gives you an insight into the highs and lows of being a Lancashire lass. The performance will address the preconceptions that a Northerner has to embrace or disgrace. The small audience gather around too. The performer glides around the eating place giving all a chance to remember, share and laugh. This new work will be made in Yorkshire in 2010 in collaboration with Third Angel's Alex Kelly. Within the making process Faye and Alex will explore their experiences of the North, drawing together personal tales and true facts. It will probably be funny, Northerners are funny right?
