The Solvents

The Cosmic Family is a satirical seminar parodying new-age evangelism, make-over shows and participatory workshops. Headed up by Freddy Grifter and Erica Humple, two grey-clad figures with glassy smiles and Teutonic accents, The Cosmic Family peddles a cure-all called The Universal Smoothie, at the princely sum of £95 a glass. Combining Monty Python humour with David Lynch aesthetics, The Solvents create an addictive and disturbing take on modern life.
