The Rage Receptacle

T0
An interactive sideshow for people of any age, The Rage Receptacle offers an opportunity to let off steam in the time of an average coffee break. Taking place in a temporary booth on Eastgate this interactive installation is the fourth in Leeds-based artist Ellie Harrison's The Grief Series, a sequence of seven art projects exploring bereavement. The Rage Receptacle is created in collaboration with sculptor Paula Chambers and architectural designer Bethany Wells. Whilst anger can be destructive it can also be a force of positive change. From passive aggressive note writing to bar room brawls, The Rage Receptacle asks what happens when you can't keep calm and carry on any longer? Somewhere between an anger management course and a fun house, The Rage Receptacle will ask the public what makes you angry and why?
