Reverend Billy Talen is an actor, performance artist and activist who began his experimental preaching in Times Square in 1994. He is currently banned from every branch of Starbucks in the USA. The Reverend and choir have toured Europe, Africa, South America and North America, where he has been arrested more than 50 times. He is also the Green Party candidate for this year’s Mayoral elections in New York.
