What makes a British child leave the comfort of their home to wage a 'holy war'? Artist Saikat Ahamed follows a British boy who has travelled to an unknown land to join a war against the West. In Syria, he reflects on how he came to be where he is, in terms of individual choices and world history, both recent and ancient.
This work in progress gives an insight into the creative process of one of the UK's most interesting writer/performers.
