Inspired by the Drifters' 1962 recording of Goffin and King's song, and Maura Dooley's poem of the same name Up On the Roof is the latest project in our Community Partnership Programme. Working with community groups across Greater Manchester, the scheme aims to reach people who may not otherwise feel that theatre is for them, and to give participants a genuine ownership of this theatre. Our latest project brings together two diverse groups, each of whom has worked with Exchange Education to develop a unique response to this single stimulus. Come and see what's Up on the Roof.
