Banned in it's own country Bernardo Santareno's book has now been adapted into a bilingual performance dealing with issues as difficult and relevant today as they were when it was written. "Whatever is left" it's a story of Misu, a white girl from a conservative family, who finds herself running away with a black boy Pedro. Surrounded by poverty and drugs they struggle to deal with race, culture and love.
