21:13 archive21:13 tells the story of an Italian girl and English boy stranded on a deserted train platform for the night. With no common language but plenty of time, they begin to find ways of communicating that speak louder, funnier and more sensitively than words. Performed to an innovative original soundtrack by composer Ross Blake, 21:13 explores the frustration of not being heard or understood and the possibilities of overcoming this through creation. In this Total Theatre Award-nominated, sell-out show, Dancing Brick stuffs the language gap full to bursting with movement, masks, comedy, poetry, Italian and slapstick in a visually inventive and highly energetic production.
