A Bucket Rider
T01617597767
This radical comedy explores and is inspired by Franz Kafka's enchantingly desolate short story
A Bucket Rider. Three actors from the silent movie era re-enact the story retreating and reinventing the scenario each exasperated time until the final, magical conclusion. Based on an original concept by John Norton, the piece is built around a revised translation by producer Anne Siegel which includes an alternative ending that Kafka published some years after the original story and has never before been translated into English.
