A New Dawn archiveFalling for one another in the '90s, Lucy and Emma forged an unshakable relationship, founded on a shared passion for social justice and an unswerving commitment to the Labour cause. Riding on a wave of national optimism both were elected to Parliament - bright young things for whom the sky was the limit. Fast forward to the present day: Emma has established the new Progress Party, whilst her estranged wife Lucy's brief and controversial stint as Labour Leader has ended her political career. With just four days until the general election, the new Party looks set to shake-up the political landscape. But a breaking story threatens to jeopardise everything. This morning will determine the future of both the country and Emma and Lucy's relationship.
