Ishmael is seeking a new life. He knows of villages and the sound of a gun. But he doesn't know Burnsall Heights Estate. He doesn't know Armley, the place where they have dispersed him to. He is waiting for his papers. He is waiting for his new life to begin amongst these strangers. He must learn how to be in this new space. He must make new connections and feel alive.
