A Time to Remember

The play is set in 1953 around the time of the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth, and is based around a family and their neighbours preparing a street party to celebrate this event. It is funny, moving and nostalgic. It will also include music and singing from the era.

Production details

The project, funded by the City Bridge Trust, has been The Spaces’ largest scale community project to date. Over the last three months we have been collecting peoples stories, memories and experiences, through a series of workshops with local residents. We have brought together to create a truly original piece of theatre. The project is funded by the City Bridge Trust.
