Abelard and Heloise

T1826015045
This moving play tells the famous twelfth century love story of Peter Abelard, a renowned teacher who fell in love with Heloise - a girl half his age. Hoeloise bore his child and the couple married, but Abelard was cruelly punished for his actions. Subsequently, he was accepted into the church, and Heloise became an Abbess, but their love for each other endured.
