Absolution is a black comedy, set in Co. Monaghan in the late 1970's and told from the perspective of Flo Brady, a young teenager in the Cathedral's youth choir, and Mizzenty Flannagan, the caretaker of the Cathedral. Although they seem worlds apart, they are connected by their shared loathing for one man.
