Agatha and Enid
T0566788212
I only wish you had been born somewhere a little less provincial. Like Paris. It would be so nice to have a dinner party where the conversation didn't always revolve round the Churston Ferrers village fete and Mrs G's warts. It would be so nice to encounter just a little glamour and sophistication... In a country house in Devon, a famous crime novelist is busy rehearsing the plot of her next whodunnit. Her composure is disturbed by the appearance of a high-spirited new tenant, who claims to be a children's writer. When Enid's unconventional behavior attracts the attention of her bored, younger husband, Agatha's suspicions multiply and soon her worst fears are realised....
