T0 'Alibis for Life' represents a departure from pure stand-up. Sean Hughes is moving into a more narrative mould. Taking his inspiration from the format of the music compact disc he offers 15 dissertations on life. Set is his neighbour's house where he is staying while the couple are away on a make or break weekend. The main-stay of the show is a deeper lok at the darker side of life and all its failings.
