Gus is a bestselling author of some renown. With a successful career, money in the bank and a beautiful wife Veronica, life couldn't be much better. There is only one slight flaw in this fairytale existence - for Veronica is planning to murder him! Up to now she has felt totally safe in the knowledge that Gus is blissfully unaware of her wicked intentions. However, her confidence is tested when Gus happens to reveal the plot of his latest novel and she finds that it bears an uncanny resemblance to her own plan. Is it simply a coincidence? Veronica resolves to press ahead but it seems things are not destined to go exactly to plan - but just whose body will the police find the next day? And who will have blood on their hands?
