At the Sign of The Crippled Harlequin archiveOn a snowy winter's night, in the Peak District, guests arrive at Peak Lodge for a festive break. Are these guests all they appear? Peak Lodge once named 'The Crippled Harlequin' after Jemmy Junkins, a music-hall harlequin whose ghost, it is said, still haunts the house. The owners, are struggling to make ends meet and the behaviour of some of the guests looks set to drive them to despair - and then one goes missing! This is a murder mystery of the good old-fashioned kind, with twists and turns to keep you guessing.
