Autobiography of a Face archive"Only three weeks ago my life was mapped out...I knew dad would give me a brand new Clio when I passed my driving test...I knew I would marry a nice Punjabi boy because I was a nice Punjabi girl... But that Bobby is gone... This my world now. I create the rules. Time for the dead to rise has come." Bobby hasn't left her flat in three weeks. Bobby eats alone. Bobby sleeps alone. Bobby dreams of a face from her past. Surrounded by Broken hearts, Religious affirmations, Indian film, Internet and The Beach Boys, Bobby finds a way to escape into her mind. What would you do if you found out you are someone else... that you have been missing a piece of your history? Bobby has retreated from the lies of the world and somewhere out there, she is certain, there is a truth. Autobiography of a Face asks questions about what makes us who we are in the world we live in today. It explores the twisted poetry of a recluse's imagination, using text, movement and technology to bring to life the story of Bobby.
