Simon is a dreamer, an artist stalled by a lack of inspiration and trapped in a soulless, dead-end office job. Matters take a surreal turn one sleepless night when he finds himself in a bizarre, twilight venue for fellow insomniacs, hosted by a charismatic and mysterious compere. What is this strange place Simon is transported to in the dead of night? Who is the beautiful singer, whose every word serves only to remind the insomniacs of their predicament? Where do you go to when you can't even dream? Fantasy and reality blur in a world of sleeplessness, where drugs can't help you, and loved ones cannot reach you.
