Blown Up
T0
Inspired by Michelangelo Antonioni's 1966 film, British provocateurs Metro-Boulot-Dodo
Blow Up the relationship between artist and subject by putting a real-life love story in front of the lens.
Blown Up charts a relationship from beginning to end. From the first photoshoot to final contact, a couple chase the light and make pictures live. But as the muse becomes part of the photographer's art, so their love turns negative. New media meets old camera in this chemical soaked fusion of laid-back soundtrack and stunning visuals, including rare footage of The Hindenburg exploding. Blurring the boundary between action and soundtrack, cinema and stage, Metro-Boulot-Dodo make photos live and love-stories die.
