A deeply unhappy but sensationally entertaining tale of a shattered family and lost childhood in Brooklyn, New York. At 16, Lindsay is the keeper to her drug addicted father Saul and subjected to his disdainful tirade of insults. Beaten by life, Saul lives in a ghoulish cocaine-fuelled fantasy, a man on fire, both dead and alive. With the coke supply running low, Saul is relying on Lindsay to broker his next deal in order to continue his delusional existence.
