The story of British spy George Blake who in 1960 was jailed for 42 years for his leaks to the KGB. Whilst in prison he becomes friends with Sean Bourke, a petty criminal who eventually manages, single handedly, to spring Blake from the Scrubs. The two meet later in Moscow where they fall into a relationship of mutual dependence and betrayal. The play that Stephen Fry walked out of when it opened in 1995.
