1970's Liverpool. Two inseparable teenagers, Rani and Kerry, are growing up fast. As the full impact of their widely differing family backgrounds and attitudes puts their friendship to the test, the looming threat of racism threatens to damage their relationship for good. Set against some of the colourful events of Liverpool's history, this warm hearted play takes us on an emotional journey through the rites of passage of youth as they negotiate the cultural heritage of it's inhabitants.
