An entertaining celebration of Darwin's legacy and his deep (entirely understandable!) love for worms. They are finally given the credit they deserve and in some cases will be making their first appearance on the UK stage in this frankly splendid combination of accessible science and compelling drama. Through the form of a distinctly surreal and twisted science lecture demonstration, a team of crack scientists take the stage and compete to out perform one another in re-creating some of Darwin's more bizarre experiments. But then, in the laboratory things begin to go awry the experiments backfire, the worm turns and a new creature evolves.
