In the bowels of an impossible pub disco there are five drinkers, all mouth and no trousers. Pints are pulled, delivered and spilled. Women talk big and men talk dirty. They make drunken threats of unreasonable violence. They make promises that can't be kept. Meanwhile, video monitors play imaginary soap operas - overbright visuals, merry jingles, title sequences and fragmentary dialogue counterpoint the spiralling brutality of the language.
