Doubt: A Parable
T0436550577
St Nicholas Catholic School's principal, Sister Aloysius, disapproves of the changes taking place in the Catholic Church, and in the increasingly liberal views of her fellow mid-sixties New Yorkers. It is this, and school-teacher Father Flynn's doctrinally flexible approach to working, that forces her to question his relationship with Donald, the only black pupil at the school. This play underpinned the film starring Meryl Streep & Philip Seymour-Hoffman and is a study in ethical uncertainty, structured like a detective drama. .
