Telling the story of an old songbook Peter discovered in an antique shop in East Finchley, North London, Peter and Sally Ann sing the songs of Charlie Chaplin, Buddy De-Silva, Ray Henderson, Vincent Youmans, Carl Scraubstader, Arthur Freed and many many more. All the songs performed are from the 1920's and the evening is about the composers, publishers, collaborators, their songs and the spirit of the age. In short, when rock and roll wasn't even a twinkle in a young girl's eye!
