The story of George Dandin, a self-made man who has married a wife from an impoverished but aristocratic family. Dandin suspects his wife has taken a lover and attempts to prove to his in-laws that their daughter is a two-timing hussy, but she, her lover and her servant cleverly out-wit him every time to hilarious effect.
