Gilt is a swirl of interlocking characters in one city. In an immense and innovative collaboration, three of Scotland's finest writers have united to create seven characters whose world's thread together to create a modern mosaic about money and love. There's John, the TV presenter searching for oblivion, Carla looking for love, Al needs some good luck, Jo's fumbling fro a way out, Chris wants respect, James has put his faith in Anita and Anita would like to start all over again. They are all trying to figure out the best currency to trade in.
Gilt is a play about love and money, because after that what else is there?
