A teenage boy in a large comprehensive school, scared of what lies ahead of him and fed up with being pushed around by teachers who don't even know his name, goes to the extreme to finally have his say. After stumbling in on two of his teachers in a rather compromising situation, the bullying attitude of his PE teacher that he has endured for five years, at last makes something snap - with disastrous consequences. Provocative, topical and uncompromising, this new production of Keeffe's original 1970s play shows that the position of working-class males continues to pose important questions.
