I Am Who Am I

Following the darkly comic 'debate' about chance and responsibility in the last production, 'The Six-Sided Man', Company Gavin Robertson now explores the complex issues of identity and love through the minds of those without a memory... If you forgot your wedding day would you remember your wife? How would you deal with tomorrow if you woke up thinking it was 1977? How would you feel about yourself if you couldn't remember your childhood... your parents... your name...? And - what would it be like for your wife, husband, brother, children...? For this quirky documentary-style production the Company takes its inspiration from genuine case histories, from those with Alzheimers, or memory-loss resulting from viruses or head injury...wry, poignant, humorous and unique! This production also features five commissioned poems from award-winning writer Ros Barber, displayed in the foyers, on the theme of 'memory'...
