Guantanamo Bay is seen largely as a symbol of western imperialism, American retribution and naked injustice. Approximately 650 men and children from over 40 nationalities have been captured; one thread that binds these strangers to one another is their faith.
In God We Trust is about two young Muslim men held in cages, in chains, in Guantanamo Bay. It explores their relationship, and how they find sanctuary in each other in order to survive.
