In a failing comprehensive in Stockton-on-Tees, Matt is struggling to inspire his art class. But then he spots young Ryan Nesbitt s extra curricular graffiti, and reckons it s as exciting as anything in the contemporary art world. It s just a pity he s chosen to express his talents on the school s newly refurbished toilet block, and the Headmaster s on the warpath. In desperation, Matt invites up an old friend with connections in the London art world. Will Ryan be celebrated as the new enfant terrible of the contemporary art scene or excluded as a vandal and end up like the other school drop-outs?
