Absent Father - On the night Chris Anderson's youth service is to be closed by a local politician, Andy, a 17-year-old trainee, baby father and Spiderman fan, decides that some direct action is called for. Chris, himself bewildered by the vagaries of the Child Support Agency, consequently becomes involved in the impromptu hostage-taking of the politician responsible. Mark has had work performed at Hampstead Theatre and through the NYT. He is currently completing his second full length play. Absent Father is a one off short piece. Slow Song - Ann is a photographer whose pictures are getting darker. Christopher is a silk weaver who has stopped weaving. They plan to get married just as oon as her parents give their blessing. Will this day ever come? Alex has had worked produced and performed at The Hen and Chickens. Slow Song is an extract from his latest work. Touching God - Crystal and Steven are a couple moving at different speeds. When they win a dream trip to the stars in the newly developed space lift they get to spend more time with each other than they have in years. Will the opportunity to talk in the exclusive surroundings bring them closer together or will it push them irrevocably apart? James has had plays on at Hampstead Theatre and the Union Theatre. Touching God is part of his second full length play.
