The promise of holiday romance is explored in unexpected ways by all these pieces, from the shimmering promise of a sun-soaked proposal to the sweaty pleasures of paradise, from the heady world of international politics to the grubby fun of a B&B in Blackpool. Journeys is also about the inner journey that people make as they blossom, or not, as lesbians, gay men and persons of varying sexualities and genders in between.
