Stranded in the dark woods of a fairy tale Russian landscape, a young journalist corners the elderly inventor of the AK47 gun in his remote dacha. But an initial welcome from Kalashnikov's daughter and granddaughter soon gives way to suspicion. As the vodka flows and awkward truths are probed, events are triggered that no one can control.
