Kebabylon archiveInspired by the gritty work of Steven Berkoff and Jim Cartwright, Kebabylon explores the dark, gristly world of the late night take away. The hopes, dreams, opinions and stories of the characters found at kebab vans, chip shops and the popular high street take-away are the inspiration for devising Kebabylon. Kebab - Pieces of meat, grilled. Babble - Talk rapidly and incomprehensibly. Babylon - Contemptuous or dismissive term for aspects of white culture seen as degenerative of oppressive.
