Le Chat Noir

Le Chat NoirT0
Take one wicked stepmother, a feckless father, a wealthy prince, a beautiful daughter, a foolish stepsister, and a mysterious black cat - and you have all the finest ingredients from Celtic folklore to make Le Chat Noir. When the prince proposes to his true love and she accepts, no one could be happier. That is, until the wedding day when the scheming stepmother puts her plain and clumsy daughter in the place of the beautiful bride-to-be. Mayhem and mischief ensue as we enter a world of magic and sorcery, guided by that fabulous feline Le Chat Noir. Le Chat Noir is enhanced by the use of puppets, masks (from Trestle Theatre) and live music. A Breton folk tale told in simple French, for all ages.
