Unity Mitford, described as Hitler s girlfriend, was the only person to maintain a close personal relationship with both Winston Churchill and Hitler, whilst her sister Decca Mitford eloped to Spain with Esmond Romilly (Winston Churchill s nephew) to join the Communist Party. Losing Unity examines issues of sibling rivalry, political allegiance and the power of infatuation.
