Macbeth False Memory

T01577810080
Mixing film and performance, ATC's Macbeth false memory is about superstition, loneliness and what happens when our dreams come true. A middle-aged man in a dusty pinstriped suit salutes magpies for luck. A young woman washes her hands all night long. The ghosts of their past visit them often. They love each other. They kill six people. The amusing thing about life is that it takes a superhuman effort to be happy...Based on Shakespeare's play and its sources, Macbeth False Memory puts magic, murder, obsession and psychosis into the context of our contemporary psyche.
