Macbeth

MacbethT3159829
The Scottish Play - theatrical types consider saying its name to be unlucky! Thrust into power by his overwhelming desires and an over ambitious wife, Macbeth finds his only security is to murder and murder again. From "When shall we three meet again" to "is this a dagger I see before me" a powerful Shakespearean drama.

Production details

Following hot on the heels of its modern interpretation of Romeo & Juliet, The Long Overdue Theatre Company has turned to the dark side with this dramatic and vicious production of Macbeth. With 38 characters, seven actors, Oriental dragon dancing, Balinese masks, blood, battles and black-magic TLOTC is pushing to the limit its trademark high energy performance style. Macbeth's original rock underscore and state of the art lighting design has been updated to give the production a cinematic quality that powerfully rams home the horror of Shakespeare's classic tale of lust and violence.
