T0 A play set in the 16/17th Century about Hugh O'Neil, Earl of Tyrone, who led the Irish and Spanish alliance against the armies of Elizabeth I in and attempt to drive the English out of Ireland. The action takes place before and after the Battle of Kinsale (1601), at which the alliance was defeated.
