Marty's Shot archiveMarty's Shot blends many of the contrasting influences of the Armagh playwright's cultural background - from Sean O'Casey to American thrillers to Harold Pinter. Set in Northern Ireland in 2003, the central character, Marty, is forced to question not only his future but also his past. A former gunman, still hungering for 'action' in a post cease-fire world, his idealism has degenerated to a ragged and out-dated reflex action. But Marty is not the only character who has lost his way. Recommended 14+ Contains strong language.
