Marooned in post-war Britain in a tall tale derived from the juiciest bits of Twelfth Night, it's boiled eggs and strong tea in cosied pots for tank-topped Cartoon de Salvo. Meanwhile, before their very eyes, rock 'n' roll is brewing. But who put the bop in the bop-shoo-wop-shoo-wop?
